Please know, yes, I’ve made many sacrifices to discipline and train and the road has been challenging at times, but it’s not just about me and the swimming.  It’s about all of you who believe, support and provide me opportunities I’ve only dreamed about.  THANK YOU so very much!

I want to thank my friends, family, team mates, staff and coaches. Without them, competing well under those hard conditions at the Parapan Games in Colombia would not have been possible. A special thanks to the team doctor, Steve Karageanes who really helped me through the flu to the extent that I could still swim competitively. Thank you coach Peggy who ensured I received everything necessary while in Colombia. Thanks so much to Jamie, Jeannine and Chris, you’re the best!  Thank you again to my friends and family who supported  me and helped me through the good and bad times of training over the summer and now at college.  This continued while I was at Parapans in Colombia. Thank you to my coaches:  Joan, Dana, Michelle and the coaches on the Wheaton swim team, as well as my physical therapists Sharon and Becky team who have helped me prepare for Colombia over these past months.  Thank you mom, dad and Alison for putting up with me when I've been away at college.
